Chocolate Shakeology Treats

Hey everyone! Quite awhile ago with my monthly order of Shakeology, I received an insert with a bunch of different recipes for Shakeology treats. I had already known about Shakeology power ball, and protein bars but this brought it to a new level! So I will be sharing recipes with you for all the flavors, but today my chocolate lovers are in luck because this one is for you! Get the treat, without the guilt! Have these ready for when a craving strikes or hey bring it to the next get together.
PIES
Chocolate Shakeology Pie
{Makes 8 servings Total time: 1hr. 10mins. Prep Time: 10mins. Cooking Time: none}
Ingredients:
2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
2 Tbsp. nonfat milk
1 (12 oz. container firm (or silken) tofu
1/2 cup all-natural peanut butter
1 whole wheat graham cracker pie crust
Directions:
Place milk, tofu, Shakeology, and peanut butter in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. Pour tofu mixture into pie crust; refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm. Cut into eight servings.
 
Banana Honeymoon Shakeology Pie
{makes 8 servings Total time: 1hr. 10mins Prep time: 10mins. Cooking Time: none}
Ingredients:
2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
2 Tbsp. nonfat milk
1 (12 oz. container firm (or silken) tofu
1/2 cup all-natural peanut butter
2 ripe medium bananas, cut into chunks
1 Tbsp. raw honey
1 whole wheat graham cracker pie crust
Directions:
Place milk, tofu, Shakeology, and peanut butter, bananas, and honey in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. Pour tofu mixture into pie crust; refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm. Cut into eight servings
 
SORBET
 
Shakeology Peppermint Sorbet
{makes 2 servings Total Time: 1hr. 5mins. Prep Time: 5 min. Cooking Time: none}
Ingredients:
2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup nonfat milk
4 to 5 drops peppermint extract
1/2 cup ice
Directions:
Place milk, Shakeology, extract, and ice into blender; cover. Blend until mixture is smooth and thick, adding more ice if necessary. Pour evenly into two medium serving bowls; freeze for 1 hour, or until firm.
 
No-Bake Cookies
Shakeology No-Bake Cookies
 
{makes 24 servings, 1 cookie each, Total Time: 10min., Prep Time: 10min, Cooking Time: none}
Ingredients:
1 cup Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup all-natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup raw honey
Directions:
Combine peanut butter, oats, honey and Shakeology in a medium bowl; mix well with a rubber spatula or clean hands. Roll mixture into twenty-four balls, each about 1-inch in size. Flatten each slightly so that it is shaped like a traditional cookie.
Shakeology Nutty No-Bake Cookies
Same as above but add 1tsp. almond extract
 
FROZEN TREATS
Peanut Butter Fudgy Pops
{makes 4 servings, 1 pop each, Total Time: 3Hrs. 5mins, Prep Time: 5min., Cooking Time:none}
Ingredients:
1 1/2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup nonfat milk
1 Tbsp. all-natural peanut butter
ice pop mold
Directions:
Place milk, Shakeology, and peanut butter in blender, cover. Blend until smooth. Pour evenly into four ice pop molds; freeze for at least 3 hours, or until set.
 
PUDDING
Chocolate Shakeology Pudding
{makes 4 servings, Total Time: 1hr. 10mins, Prep Time: 10mins, Cook Time: none}
Ingredients:
1 1/2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
1 ripe medium avocado
1 medium banana, cut into chunks
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1tsp. fresh lemon juice
Directions:
Place Shakeology, avocado, banana, almond milk, and lemon juice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. (if too thick add additional almond milk.) Pour into four dessert cups; refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until set.
 
BARS
Shakeology Frozen Fudgy Oat Bars
{Makes  8 servings, 1 bar each, Total Time: 3hrs. 10mins., Prep Time: 10mins, Cook Time: none}
Ingredients:
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1/2 cup old-fashion rolled oats
1 scoop Beachbody Whey Protein Powder, Chocolate or Vanilla flavor (or equivalent)
1/2 cup all natural peanut butter
1/2 ripe medium banana, mashed
nonstick cooking spray
Directions:
Combine Shakeology, oats, and whey protein powder in a large bowl; mix well. Add peanut butter and banana; mix well with rubber spatula or clean hands. Place in an 8x8-inch pan that is lightly coated with spray. Cover with plastic wrap and press down to flatten into pan. Freeze for 3 hours. Cut into 8 bars.
 
Shakeology Sunshine Bars

{Makes  12 servings, 1 bar each, Total Time: 3hrs. 10mins., Prep Time: 10mins, Cook Time: none}
Ingredients:
2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup egg white powder
 2 cups old-fashion rolled oats
2 Tbsp. wheat germ
2 Tbsp. flax seed
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup raw honey
1/4 cup all-natural almond butter
2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
nonstick cooking spray
Directions:
Combine Shakeology, egg white powder, rolled oats, wheat germ, flaxseed and cinnamon in a large bowl; mix well. Add almond milk, honey, almond butter, and bananas; mix well with a rubber spatula or clean hands. Place in 8x8-inch pan that is lightly coated with spray. Cover with plastic wrap and press down to flatten into pan. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Cut into twelve bars.
 
Gooey Shakeology Oatmeal Bars
{Makes  12 servings, 1 bar each, Total Time: 3hrs. 10mins., Prep Time: 10mins, Cook Time: none}
Ingredients:
4 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 dash ground cinnamon
1 cup nonfat milk
1/2 cup all natural peanut butter
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
nonstick cooking spray
Directions:
Combine Shakeology, oats, cocoa powder, cinnamon in a large bowl; mix well. Add milk, peanut butter, and vanilla extract; mix well with rubber spatula or clean hands. Place in a 8x8 inch pan that is coated lightly with spray. Cover with plastic wrap and press down to flatten into pan. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Cut into twelve bars.

Spring "Clean" Your Fridge


BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! So I took a page out of a fellow coaches book and I'm excited to announce that I am going to be doing a clean eating grocery trip for anyone who wants to learn how to make healthier choices at the grocery store!  I have so many friends and customers who have no idea where to start when it comes to grocery shopping and what items are better than others.  Those labels are so deceiving.  Just because they say all natural or fat free doesn't mean that they are good for you!  It doesn't mean that they didn't cram in a bunch of processed foods, hidden sugars and sodium to make the shelf life longer along with God knows what it does to your body!  So instead of throwing you to the wolves in the grocery store with a list of foods you may not know where to find I have decided to take you with me!  Fun RIGHT!!!  What's better than having someone show you what to buy other than me doing it for you?!
Sooo Friday night, April 25th  I am going to hold a hands on grocery trip at Wegmans on Rt. 248 in Easton, PA.
We will meet at 8:00 pm at the Market Cafe inside Wegmans.  To start each person will get a blank meal plan, grocery list and pen.  Then, together we will come up with a basic
meal plan that will meet your needs and your families as well.  Then, we will navigate the grocery store together.  I will show you healthy alternatives to your favorite foods along with what to avoid and how to make better choices!  You can choose to do your grocery shopping there or you can just come along for the ride take notes and learn how to navigate the store on your own!  Honestly, I wish that someone would have taught me these things!  There were so many times that I walked up and down the isles searching for quinoa or ground flax seed and had no idea where to find it!  Let's cut the learning curve and arm you with the tools to go home and make immediate changes to your families diet!
There is a cost associated with this class for the materials and my time.  If you were to go to a nutritionist it would cost over $400 for meal planning and grocery shopping trips!  Small price to pay for a huge return on your health and weight loss!  So all participants (if you're not a Summer Slim Down challenger) must be paid prior to the class by either mailing me a check or via Paypal. Summer Slim Down Challenge

Man ooooh man! its about 60 days til' Summer, can you believe it?? We are FINALLY feeling some warmer weather recently...especially today it has been beautiful. It even feels nice when you're inside and the breeze is coming in through the windows! SO relaxing.

I'm really excited to share what I have planned! I have TWO online challenge groups coming up (along with my monthly 21 Day Fix challenge group). It isn't a one size fits all when it comes to health and fitness. Aside from eating healthier and cleaner, and moving the booty... there are options... and that's why I like to have a few groups for you! The title of this is Summer slim down, but my idea is to teach you how to eat better and create a workout routine that you can stick to and be consistent with. So that next summer, you're not looking for a quick fix.
Alright, so I'm gonna lay it all out for you! First I want to ask you some questions!
 
1. Did you wear the clothes you wanted to last summer?
2. Did you feel comfortable and confident in your bathing suits and shorts?
3. When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
4. Do you struggle with emotional eating, social gatherings, vacation & balancing that with healthy eating?
5. Are you busy and lack the time to workout, but really want to make a lifestyle change?
6. Do you need someone to check in with you to make sure your following the right plan?
7. Do you have good intentions with healthy eating, but constantly frustrated by your lack of progress?
 
If so I would really consider joining one of my challenge groups! So lets choose your challenge!

I run these challenge groups not so you can lose a few pounds, start an exercise program for a little bit and fall of the wagon. So while you'll be ready for summer, I want you to create a new lifestyle! I want you to learn how to eat right, make time for exercise and make it manageable for life!

Let's put those yoga pants we've been wearing all Winter to work, shall we! With me as your Coach you will join a private Facebook group with about five people like you who have the same goals of leading a healthier life through eating healthier and working out! You will receive support from me, a fellow coach and the other members of the group. You will hold each other accountable and push each other. A little friendly competition never hurt either ;)
I will help you stay motivated, post daily in the group, help you with nutrition and help you reach your goals! I will support you every step of the way, no matter where you're starting in your journey.
 
For this challenge you will be using Shakeology and a Beachbody program like Focus T25 or Brazilian Butt Lift (which are both 60 day programs aaaand on sale this month. BOOM). Shakeology is required because I know it works. Like I said, I started drinking it half way through Insanity and it was a total game changer for me. I lost weight, I have more energy and I just feel GOOD. You will use Shakeology as a meal replacement, eat a healthy diet and workout.
