Does anyone know about this site?
It's basically a website where you can receive up to 70% off retail products. They have every kind of shop you can think of from kitchen islands to blow up dinosaurs....which I obviously need to get for Nate! The deals only last a certain amount of time...
i only have until noon to get this guy!

When you sign up you get $10 credit for inviting friends and more credits for sharing on Twitter, Facebook and even your blog. So basically that's what I'm getting at here. I'm not going to sugar coat it! So click and join so  I we get credits to SHOP! yaaaayyy.

p.s. Weekend update coming (hint there was a wedding). I know don't pee your pants with excitement. I have to clean my house first since I was too busy entertaining the couch yesterday.

#thehashtag

heyyy.
so the other day I admitted to you all that I was a closet fan of the word "cray". Well I have to talk about another phenom that I'm a closet fan of.
The hashtag #.
Once used only for twitter it has become pretty popular on Facebook, Pinterest, texts, milk cartons, license plates, ect. Not sure about the last two but I'm probably not cray for thinking so. I've been trying so hard to not like it and I'm really not sure why. What's so bad about it anyway? Times are changing people.
It's an easy way to say what you need to say. #johnmayer

#imnotmadatit
Oh! hA! See what I see?
Grow up Peter Pant. Count Chocula. #namethatmovie

So you may or may not see me using this from time to time. No need to get worked up about it. It's just words. With no spaces. See? You're liking it already.

But thats enough of that for now.

Moving right along. Before I go I want to share a nice lil motivational quote. It was written in this article if you want to read the whole thing and get extra inspired go for it!

"Focus on where you’re headed instead of obsessing about where you are. You can’t move forward if your mind dwells on self-critical thoughts about being overweight. What we focus our attention on grows. Shift negative attention away from your current weight and concentrate on the positive lifestyle changes you’re making. This inspires you to succeed. When your desire to look forward overshadows the tendency to complain about where you are, you’ll reach your goal more easily."

You could apply this to any area of your life and lesbihonest (sorry watching Jersey Shore) I need some uplifting words after it raining here. every. single. day. this. week. I love a rainy day here and all but I'm ooooover it!

p.s. that movie was Wedding Crashers ;-)

Girl you cray

I have to admit. I'm a closet fan of the word "cray". It's fun times. Try it out today. Maybe not with your boss though. Not yet...too soon.

Today I'm doing a little linkster with The Vintage Apple on things that make me "cray". Crazy for you kids who didn't know that gem of a word yet. Nothing I like more than increasing someones vocab!

This list should probably be titled, "Random weird shit about me" but with the interest of linking up we'll stick with, "Does that make me crazy?"

- That I have a hard time deleting shows off of the DVR after I watch them? You never know when I'll need to watch that exact episode of RHONJ again.
-That I can't stand the sound of someone chewing ice? It goes right through me. Yet when I was preggo I couldnt' get enough ice.
-That I'm doing Insanity, and actually like it?
no, this shit is CRAY, Shaun T.

-That I toast my english muffin so its crispy but then let it cool off so whatever I put on it doesn't melt?...yah...
-That I know a ridiculous amount of movies lines?- but I can't remember to switch the laundry!
this is probably more annoying than crazy ha!

-That when I do get to the wash I put like 3-5 Snuggle dryer sheets in? C'mon you know they smell ahhmazing.
-While I LOVE funny movies I can't watch scary movies?  At all. Not even the previews. Why do they have to air them during a nice little episode of Teen Mom, anyway?
-That when I get drunk, "money shots" take place? Money shots through the years:

-That I can't help but pick my mascara off? - usually its when I'm really tired
-That one of my best friends and I used to pretend we were retired?
this should actually be under "how to have a fun time"

-That I heat my coffee up 278432 times? I can't handle if it's even lukewarm.
-That I read magazines from back to front?
-That I crack myself up? Seriously.

(It's a little disturbing that at first I couldn't think of many, then they just started flowing)
Please tell me I'm not alone on some of these!

LESGOOOOO

I'm baaack!

I'm not going to apologize for my absences anymore! I'm not gonna do it. Don't give me that look. Ok, fine. Sorry.
So after my 25th 27th birthday post I decided to act on one of my goals. I restarted Insanity.
And I made a fitness board.
Double whammy!
I'm a visual person so I think this is really going to help me stay on track! That and no more boating weekends.

Let's break it down.

On my goal list is to run a 5k again...the last one (and only one) I've done was the Turkey Trot. On Thanksgiving day. I puked at the end.

This is an article I cut out and put on scrapbook paper. It suggests telling yourself you can have a cupcake or fries or whatever it is after you work out. Usually after working out you end up not wanting it. Hopefully this doesn't backfire making me convince myself I can have 12 cupcakes since I worked out. So far so good.

This is a diagram of measurements to record when you start the program and then your measurements after you finish the program. Don't forget: Muscle weighs more than fat. So don't just rely on the scale. Some people don't like to even weigh themselves. I can't help but do it once a day. Or ten.

Next are two pictures that were already on this board but I kept them on there as little motivators. Apparently I was working out alot because my arms look pretty good if I do say so myself.

A popular phrase with the Beachbody workouts is just "PUSH PLAY". As in just show up (you only have to go to your living room or basement wherever you workout in your house) and push play. Do what you can, even if its only 20 minutes of the workout. Even if your toddler is crawling on your back as your doing push ups and your mastiff is sniffing your face.

With Insanity you do a Fit Test every few weeks to track your progress. These are my beginning results: (yes you read that right, suicide jumps)

And last is my list of Goals. Long & Short term:

Long Term:
-Train/Sign up for 5k Spring 2013
-Follow an eating schedule, something like: 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7:30pm ( thinking I might have to adjust this one)
-Try to eliminate carbs from last meal. Limit sugar. Try not to eat fruit past 5pm.
-Get personal training certification and other certs.

Short Term:
-Drink more water (surprisingly I struggle with this. There's water in coffee...)
-Maintain diet log
-Restart/complete Insanity ( half check!)
-Become a Beachbody Coach

I've also added, eating a "cleaner diet" and get more sleep. For real. I need to sleep more.

Alright, so what do you guys think? I'm really glad I made this. It's leaning against my printer on our desk in the living room so I see it everyday. I'm thinking of adding a few more things but I like that you can see everything clearly. On our weekly dry erase board I wrote what workout is scheduled for what day that way I see it and can hold myself accountable. And it's really elementary but I love checking it off after I do it. Nothing like going back to "chore charts"!

Tell me what will be on your board if you make one. If you have any questions let me me know!

If you need some more motivation, check out Nathan workin' it. I really wanted him to show off his push ups because it is hiiii-llarrr-ious. But he wasn't cooperating. He wanted to stretch.

OK. And the video uploading isn't cooperating either. Maybe next time.

P.S. Check out Maria Kang. She's had 3 kids in 3 years and pretty much super(fit) mom. I got a lot of my goal ideas from her.

25ish

OK OK so I did not turn 25 today....I turned the big 2-7. That's 27 when you put it together. I know it's not a big milestone but its alot closer to 30 then I have been in the last few years. Today we went to the winery for a little birthday celebration (surprised?)

happy birthday to me! thanks family :)

In the next year I have a few goalsssss

1. Get my personal training certificate and work on myself as well- eating clean is something I read about all of the time but I want to make it the bigger percentage of my diet. Wine is clean, btdubs.
2. Keep my sense of "everything in moderation" as well as eating clean. Because the taco dip that the winery had is something no one should ever give up eating. While this isn't really a goal I will add drink more water. Pretty simple, right?
3. Take some photography classes.
4. Speaking of classes, I want to buckle down and at least get my associates degree. Hi see age above.
5. Learn to be a better cook (I've been using the crock pot as my crutch but I even burned a meal in that last week, yiiikes).

this was the view leaving the winery.... gorgeous day!

We'll stop at 5 because I'm already getting overwhelmed with the expectations for myself!
OH and I really am going to try and blog more!

Thank you to my family and friends who made this day special for me!

oh...and to Google too? When I scrolled over it, it says, "Happy Birthday Sarah!"
I'm kind of a big deal.

Martha who???

Hey girl heyyyyy

OK first things first. I'm sitting her watching "Bachelor Pad" one of the final shows and I realized that I've been recording this show and it has "mysteriously disappeared" off my list. Mmmhmm. I'm lost but moving on.

Anyway.

I said we had some plans for Saturday and I have some pics to prove it! (Ok alot of pics to prove it...)
In the early afternoon we went to a Safety event at one of the nearby elementary schools. It was alot of fun! The K9 unit was there, fire trucks, police, "hofficers", command center (my personal favorite), and Nate also got his ID and fingerprint taken.

Afterwards my sisters and I went crazy got our supplies from Hobby Lobby to make our new fall wreath! Thank you for the tutorial the girl in the red shoes! Click that link for materials needed/proper tutorial.

Paint your letters first

Definitely do the moss outside!! It's messy

Fill in your moss, hot glue it to the wreath

Refill your wine Place your decorations

You have to get creative with some of the letters. For "L" we hot glued the end of the burlap to the top of the letter and knotted it at top. Bows were done separately and hot glued.

For the M we glued just glued the letter to the wreath, the size was perfect

Loving the start to my fall front porch!!

Sunday, Ava turned FOUR months!!!
LOVE these tutu pants
AND she tried rice cereal for the first time, and looooved ittttt
Mom this is some good ish!

And here's a smile to start your week off with
